The LineUp

Colin McGuire

McGuire is a poet and performer known for his dynamic, engaging performances. In 2020, he was an Ignite Fellow Awardee, awarded by the Scottish Book Trust. He is currently working on a book as part of this award. He is a meditation teacher. His most recent collection is 'Enhanced fool disclosure' (Speculative Books, 2018)

Murid Laly

Murid Laly is a poet and writer based in Edinburgh. They co-run Peanut Press, a micro-press based in Edinburgh, working as an editor and typesetter. Their own work has recently sought to explore the constructed boundaries between the human and natural worlds.

Harry Josephine Giles

Harry Josephine Giles is from Orkney and lives in Leith. Her verse novel Deep Wheel Orcadia was published by Picador in October 2021. She has a PhD in Creative Writing from Stirling. Her show Drone debuted in the Made in Scotland Showcase at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and toured internationally. www.harryjosephine.com

Myles Westman

Myles Westman is a Glasgow-based writer, art-maker, youth-worker, and author of Theophanies, published by Peanut Press. Their work is concerned with Blackness, queerness, faith, ships, sails, the sea, the sea.

Zebib K Abraham

BIO- "Z. K. Abraham (she/her) is a writer and psychiatrist. She recently completed a Master’s in Creative Writing with distinction from the University of Edinburgh. She has been published in FANTASY Magazine, The Rumpus, Apparition Lit, and more. She writes reviews for Spectrum Culture and is in SFWA. She explores psychological themes within speculative fiction. Sean Lìonadh

Sean Lìonadh is a poet, writer, filmmaker and musician from Glasgow, known for his visual poem Time for Love which reached millions of people online, won a 2019 Royal Television Society award and was translated into five languages. It also inspired a Ted talk and a movement called the Time for Love Project.

Hannah Lavery

Hannah Lavery is an award-winning poet and playwright. Her pamphlet, Finding Seaglass was published by Stewed Rhubarb and her debut collection, Blood Salt Spring was published this year by Polygon.The Drift, her highly acclaimed autobiographical lyric play toured Scotland as part of the National Theatre of Scotland’s Season 2019 and in 2020, she was selected by Owen Sheers’ as one of his Ten Writers Asking Questions That Will Shape Our Future for the International Literature Showcase, a project from the National Writing Centre and the British Council. Her play Lament for Sheku Bayoh premiered at Edinburgh International Festival in 2020 and toured in its digital version to Auckland Arts Festival. She was also appointed Edinburgh Makar in November 2021 for a three year term. She is an associate artist with the National Theatre of Scotland and one of the winners of the Peggy Ramsay/Film4 Award 2022. She has written for Radio Four, Lyceum Theatre, Pitlochry Theatre and is under commission with Northern Stage and Fuel Theatre. She was a recipient of the Adopt a Playwright Award 2020 and the New Playwright’s Award from Playwriting Studio Scotland 2019. 

Musenga L Katongo

Zambian born Musenga L Katongo is an award winning creative arts entrepreneur and founder of creative arts platform, Colour Culture Arts. He is a three time international and local poetry slam champion, a TEDx Performer and an award nominated author.
