We know talking about our mental health can help to reduce mental health stigma but how do we actually do it? This interactive workshop will aim break down the all the elements of how to have those supportive conversations with someone about their mental health.
Talking about mental health and opening up when we are struggling can help to reduce stigma around mental health however we’re not always so confident having those conversations or not to sure what’s the best way to approach this. In this workshop we will unpick all the elements of a supportive conversation, exploring aspects such as when is a good time, how to begin, listening and responding and what to think about after the conversation.
